It’s Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday Celebration! Every year the Apple Hill Growers celebrate Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday with kids activities PLUS fun for Adults at our wineries. Look for participating Apple Hill Farms and Wineries with things like a SCAVENGER HUNT, KID CRAFTS, MAKE YOUR OWN MINI-CARAMEL APPLE, SAMPLES OF APPLE HILL BAKED GOODIES and MORE! It’s happening this weekend on Sunday, September 22nd!

KIDS ACTIVITIES:

• Delfino Farms: Enjoy mini cooking classes, Walkin’ Pie eating contest. (In-person registration required, space is limited)
• Rainbow Orchards: Birthday Goodie Bag for children 12 andunder!
• Sloan Winters Mountain Orchard & Garden: Free Johnny Appleseed Coloring Page.
• Denver Dan’s Apple Ranch: Meet Johnny Appleseed and dessert samples from 10am-4pm.
• Apple Ridge Farms: Johnny Appleseed coloring book for kids 12 and under. While supplies last.
• O’Halloran’s Apple Trail Ranch: Celebrate with Apple Hill cake. Visit an apple tree documented to be a graft from one of Johnny’s trees.
• Abel’s Apple Acres: Take pic at Johnny Appleseed Height Measuring Tree. Johnny Appleseed fact sheet and coloring page, too.
• Harris Tree Farm: Come for a scavenger hunt and make your own mini caramel apples.
