The Folsom Fire Department invites the community to a formal dedication and grand opening ceremony, Thursday, September 26, for the new Fire Station 34.

The station, located at 3255 Westwood Drive in the Folsom Ranch community, is a modern, single-story facility and the first fire station south of Highway 50. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and will conclude with a fire engine push-in ceremony.

The grand opening ceremony will also include tours of the new station and light refreshments.

This 12,200-square-foot station includes three spacious apparatus bays that can accommodate a fire engine, brush engine, and ambulance. It also features six single dorms for engine company and ambulance personnel, along with offices and public areas.
