Scott Vail, long-time ARC volunteer & board member, will lead this hike of about 9 miles on the ridge route northwest of Carson Pass to Little Round Top and then to Showers Lake. We will have outstanding views of the Carson Pass Area including: Caples Creek, Meiss Meadows, Lake Tahoe and the Winnemucca Lakes area.

This is an advanced hike due to the elevation (8000-8600 feet) and some off-trail hiking. Rain or shine. Experienced hikers ages 14+ welcome. Well-behaved dog on-leash OK. Meeting location Placerville area. FREE.
