Roseville Event: Elemental Changes, a Student Run Event - September 28
Join the student run event “Elemental Changes” event where Industry Professionals will talk about The changing landscape of work that presents new opportunities and challenges and it is essential for future young professionals to understand the trends and forces shaping the future so they can stay ahead of the curve, adapt, stay relevant, and be successful.
The purpose of this event is to educate students on key elemental changes in industry that are shaping the future of work. This event is an opportunity for students to learn from industry professionals to become aware of trends and skills that can impact their success in industry.
As a student myself I noticed a struggle that my peers and I faced, which was the lack of knowledge of what is happening in our industry of study. As our world is constantly changing we are left learning about things that don't necessarily help us stay ahead of the curve, although we could listen to podcasts, the most valuable thing we needed was just a real time face to face conversation with people who are already working and adapting in the changing landscape.
Although this event is focused mainly for STEM students, especially those pursuing tech, students from all majors can benefit from this event to learn about trends that are happening or skills (especially soft skills) that are shaping almost every industry. Come if you want an edge and to stay ahead of the curve!
