Imagination Theater on the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville presents Clue Onstage September 15 through 30.

Written by Sandy Rustin, Clue is based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn and the popular boardgame.

It's a dark and stormy night when six strangers arrive at the creepy Boddy Manor, somewhere in the woods of McCarthy-era Washington, DC.  They are greeted by Wadsworth the butler (Nicholas East) who eventually introduces them to their host, Mr. Boddy (Stanley M Simons).

When Mr. Boddy turns up dead, a chaotic search for the murderer ensues through the various rooms of the manor.  Doors slam, more bodies turn up, the inept police add to the confusion, and it's up to the guests to determine WHO the killer is, what the WEAPON was, and WHERE the crimes were committed.  

Directed by Lorin Torbitt, Clue features a clever rotating set designed by Peter Wolfe to simulate the nine rooms of the manor.
