Folsom Event: Woven Works Exhibit at the Gallery at 48 Natoma–Opening Reception-July 15
Finding an age-old technique celebrated in unexpected materials is remarkable. The new exhibit at the Gallery at 48 Natoma features two artist’s work portraying hand-woven baskets in very surprising mediums. “Woven Works,” is a play on the unexpected with encaustic paintings of basket imagery by Paula Busch and unique hand-woven baskets by Carolyn Zeitler. The exhibit will be open July 15 through September 23, 2022.
The Art Center at 48 Natoma has fantastic art classes for all ages. Every year we like to highlight our talented faculty and students with a showcase of their art. A variety of class work including pottery, painting and more will be on display from July 8 to September 23, 2022.
An opening reception for both exhibits is planned for Friday, July 15, from 6-8 p.m. Entrance is free and open to the public with live music by Daniel Roest. Complimentary refreshments will be provided.
The Gallery at 48 Natoma is now open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and additional evening hours 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; call 916-461-6601 for current hours.
