Living History Day at Marshall Gold Discovery SHP
Step back in time with living history demonstrations
The park will come alive on Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Experience what life was like during the California Gold Rush during Living History Day activities in the picnic area behind the museum.

• Visit with a gold rush merchant, stop by the boarding house to see what’s cooking, or try your hand at the washboard.
• Learn about and play with toys from the 19th century.
• Find out how sheep’s wool can become your favorite sweater.
• Visit with a carpenter and a cooper and learn about the tools of the trade.
• Don’t forget to stop by the blacksmith shop in town.
