San Francisco-based artist Peter Combe’s solo exhibition SUPERSTUDIO will be on display at Blue Line Arts. Combe's work is featured in several notable institutional collections including the Crocker Art Museum, Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, and the corporate collections of Starbucks, Microsoft, and Home Depot, among others.

SUPERSTUDIO transports the artist's studio workspace into the gallery, lending an approachable and interactive element to the show. Visitors gain insight into the creation process and materials of the artist, from his signature technique of aligning paint swatches in tonal compositions, to seeing demonstrations of his actual canning machine used to produce Warhol-inspired Combebell's pop art pieces.

During the reception, the artist will deliver a free public lecture on color, with interactive paint swatch art activities geared towards families to follow. The gallery will also host a Drop-In First Saturday educational event, free for families to participate in, to make and take works inspired by the techniques used by the artist.
