Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park in Coloma is pleased to announce the return of Coloma Gold Rush Live! The public is invited to experience California’s rich Gold Rush history at this live event October 8-10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

From the birth of the town of Coloma, a community grew. That strong community spirit prevails to this day. Join docents and staff of Marshall Gold Discovery SHP as we celebrate the community spirit of Coloma of 1850.

Visit with merchants, crafts people, and miners. as you explore what life was like in a gold rush town.

There are plenty of hands-on activities to keep the kids, young and old, entertained including gold panning, tin punching, bowling, and a plethora of children’s games. And, if you work up an appetite with all this activity, stop by the Gold Rush BBQ for some sustenance.

Food and refreshments available for purchase. Dog-free event except for service animals. $10 per vehicle Day Use Fee, $5 per vehicle Event Fee.
