Roseville Events: Blue Line Arts Offers Mosaic Workshop for Veterans & Families
Join teaching artist, Jennifer Iams-McGuire for a 2-day Mosaic Workshop for Veterans and Families at Royer Park in Roseville. Meeting on Saturday, April 24th and Sunday, April 25th from 11:30am-4:30pm.
Veterans are welcome to join us for an art workshop to spend quality time with your family members while creating a unique mosaic together! This engaging family experience teaches the fundamental steps of mosaic making: starting with a mosaic layout, cutting tiles, mounting your design and grouting for a start to finish unique family creation! Open to all veterans and up to 4 of their immediate family members (ages 8 and up), this workshop is designed for veteran families to engage in a creative project together. All instruction and art materials will be provided to create your 12×12 family mosaic.
Due to covid-19, this event is currently planned to take place outdoors in Royer Park. Each family group will be provided with their own workstation and supplies. Social distancing between other family groups will be encouraged. Please wear a mask.
This workshop is free to veterans, with a $20.00 refundable deposit. (returned at completion of workshop.) Please complete online registration at https://www.bluelinearts.org/event/mosaic-workshop-for-veterans-families to reserve your seat. Space is limited to 25 participants.
