Diamond Springs Event: Sierra Wildlife Rescue's New Volunteer Orientation/Recruitment Event

Join Sierra Wildlife Rescue at our annual New Volunteer Orientation/Recruitment event, set for Sunday, February 9, from 1 - 4 pm, at the SWR Wildlife Center. The Center is located at 777 Pleasant Valley Rd, in Diamond Springs.

For nearly 30 years, SWR has rescued orphaned and injured wildlife in El Dorado County, caring for and rehabilitating them, and returning them to their natural habitat. The organization is all-volunteer, non-profit and totally donation-funded, rehabilitating up to 1500 wild animals each year. Volunteers are the backbone of SWR, and we couldn’t function without them.

This free event will be interactive and informal. Wander through and see exhibits (including videos of our adorable animals in rehab), talk to current volunteers and other members, and explore all the ways to become involved with SWR.

For more information on SWR, go to our website, www.sierrawildliferescue.org. Whatever your interests, talents or skills, SWR has activities you will enjoy, as well as making a huge contribution to benefit wildlife. We hope you will join us for this enjoyable and memorable event, and look forward to meeting you!
