An artist reception will be held on February 7, 2020 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm exhibiting paintings by Susan B. Keale. Beautiful art, music, wine and appetizers will be provided.

Keale's style of acrylic painting is Rustic Contemporary in which there are multiple layers, techniques and styles in play. The emotions expressed are the homey comfort of an old house, the joyous delight of garden flowers and nature, and sumptuous, yummy colors. The use of black lines give the subject a stained glass effect; yet the loose brush work relaxes the form. The crackled background allows for a hidden layers of color, possibly a previous painting and choices to peak through.
