Sacramento Event: Sol Collective and Sacramento History Museum Present Dia De Los Muertos
he Sacramento History Alliance, in partnership with Sol Collective Arts & Cultural Center and the Center for Sacramento History, presents a vibrant and exciting new exhibit, Dia de los Muertos: Souls of the City, in the new R. Burnett Miller Gallery of the Sacramento History Museum. Through traditional altars and multi-media disciplines, the exhibit celebrates the art and traditions of Dia de los Muertos and includes an altar dedicated to philanthropist and friend, Burnett Miller. The exhibit opens September 28 and runs through November 30, 2019. And don’t miss the annual Souls of the City Festival, Saturday, November 2nd, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
