Sacramento Event: Organ Concert at St. John’s Lutheran Church

Please join us on Sunday, November 3, at 2 pm when acclaimed French organist Christophe Mantoux will perform an organ concert at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1701 L Street, in midtown Sacramento. Christophe is a world-class organist known for his excellence in playing Baroque music and music of 19th and 20th century France. He is currently organist of Saint-Séverin, Paris (the organ pictured in the attached poster) and professor at the Pôle Superieur and Conservatoire Régionale in Paris; he was formerly titular organist of Chartres Cathedral. An engaging performer and person, Christophe will lift your spirit with works of Boyvin, Bach, Franck, Vierne, and Tournemire.


Tickets are $20 general admission; $15 for students, seniors, and AGO members; children 12 and under free. Credit or debit cards may be used for advance purchases at www.stjohnslc.org, but we are only able to accept cash at the door. We encourage advance purchases to save you time when you arrive for the performance. Free parking is available in the church garage at 18th and K Streets. The entrance to the garage is on K Street.
