Climate Advocate Training Workshop

A free workshop to learn how to build political will for action on climate change

Join us on Saturday, November 9 from 11am -2pm at Round Table Clubhouse in Rocklin for a free Climate Advocate Training workshop.

This nonpartisan presentation is for anyone interested in learning how to build the political will for meaningful action on climate change. No experience is necessary. If you'd like to learn, we'd love to have you!

This workshop will cover:
- the basics of becoming an effective climate advocate
- the structure and mission of Citizens' Climate Lobby
- how to build constructive relationships with elected officials
- tools for creating political will
-how to appeal to the best in others and build common ground
- the details of and resources for understanding the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act

This workshop is presented by the Roseville chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby. CCL is a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. CCL's consistently respectful, nonpartisan approach to climate education is designed to create a broad, sustainable foundation for climate action across all geographic regions and political inclinations. By building upon shared values rather than partisan divides, and empowering our supporters to work in keeping with the concerns of their local communities, we work towards the adoption of fair, effective, and sustainable climate change solutions.
