El Dorado County has a brand-new performing arts space at the historic Burke Junction Shopping Center in Cameron Park. The Stage at Burke Junction is a professional theater and music performance space that holds 54 comfortable seats in a thrust layout (seating on all 3 sides of the stage.) A former martial arts academy has been artfully transformed into a quality theatrical venue worthy of anything you might find in places like Chicago, Boston or Los Angeles. The Stage will present its inaugural show, Tennessee Williams’ Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, opening September 20th and directed by Harvey T. Jordan.
