This will be the sixth year for the Good Dog and Dirty Dog 5K/10K. This event is for walkers, runners, and their dogs! We are excited to offer this event for athletes and their dogs and hope everyone has a fun time.

The Good Dog 5K starts at 8:05 am at the south end of the Granite Beach parking area at Folsom Lake SRA. All athletes and dogs MUST Walk the entire 5K course. The course will have one aid station at the half way point for both walkers and their dogs. Additional dogs can be signed up to accompany the walker and dog #1 for a fee of $10 per dog. Each additional dog will receive a Dog tag and Doggie-goody bag.

The Dirty Dog 10K starts at 8:00 am at the south end of the Granite Beach parking area at Folsom Lake SRA. Athletes and their dogs MUST run safely and without entangling other dogs. The course will have one aid station at the half way point for both runners and their dogs. 10K athletes (and their dogs) will do two laps of the course.

All Good Dog Walkers, Dirty Dog Runners and their Dogs will receive a Finisher Medal and Dog tag at the finish line. Also included for all competitors is a custom Good Dog/Dirty Dog tech-tee race shirt, a goody bag with treats for both owners and dogs, and a post-race meal.

We will have a ‘Runner only – No Dog’ category with individual awards to the top male and female runners in this category.
