This Foster Meadow hike will be led by four volunteers from ARC & the Cosumnes Coalition: Barbara Houghton, Rob Kilbourne, Cinda Christensen, and Paul Petrocchi. You will enjoy this meander through a beautiful headwaters meadow of the Middle Fork Cosumnes River with frequent stops to discuss meadow restoration, wildflowers, etc. Lunch will be adjacent to a waterfall. This is a 2-mile, high-elevation hike with some steep areas and slippery/rocky terrain on an undefined trail. Lightning storms cancel. Ages 10+ welcome.
