High Hand Art Gallery Presents Del Oro High School Student Art Show
Come see the work of 30+ new local artists from Del Oro High School.
High Hand Art Gallery and Del Oro High School have collaborated to help and encourage youth artists by with a showcase of Del Oro High School’s young artistic talent. High Hand Gallery has also instituted an Emerging Artist Residency Program, which is unique for art gallery’s in the Placer County area.
The Emerging Artist program at High Hand Art Gallery is aimed at artists between the ages of 18-35. The program is available to new artists in the eligible age range who have demonstrated a dedication to an art medium or mediums that indicates advanced skill. Once identified, an Emerging Artist at High Hand Art Gallery will enjoy a reduced monthly fee, and will learn about the art gallery, curation, and all things professional art. The Emerging Artist is assigned a mentor and a more flexible work schedule. The Emerging Artist must commit to the program for at least six months.
