Kathryn Franklin from Roseville, CA is a finalist in the national Sally Hansen and Glamour magazine "Best of You" competition.  It focuses on recognizing volunteer work and Franklin was nominated for her volunteer work with Project Birthday.  Franklin is proud to be the only finalist west of the Mississippi!  She attended Eich Junior High School and Oakmont High School.  As a Girl Scout  Franklin learned the value of volunteering.  She continued my education at Scripps College in Claremont, CA and recently graduated from McGeorge School of Law. http://www.glamalert.com/sally/ Above is the link for voting.  It takes just a minute and you'll see her photo there (Kathryn Franklin, Roseville, CA).  Please vote for her!  The winner wins a trip to New York, receives a makeover, is honored at a luncheon, and receives a $1000 donation to the charity of her choice! It is one vote per email address, so you can vote with however many email addresses you have.  The final date to vote is Feb. 23rd 2009.  With each vote cast, Glamour will donate $1 to a charity.  Franklin would love to see the support and votes from her community.  Franklin says "It is an honor to represent Roseville and Placer County."
