Congrats to Camp Gold Dust Vineyard (conduitwine.com), a family-run winery in Somerset, for being named one of the “Top Winery & Vineyard Camping Experiences” in the U.S. by Hipcamp (hipcamp.com). Known for producing small-batch natural wines and ciders, they also offer guests the opportunity to camp or glamp right among the vines—all with sweeping Sierra Foothills views and a “vincade” (complete with classic games, air hockey, Skee- Ball, and a 15-foot projection screen).

The U.S. Department of the Interior has officially designated Roseville’s 6.36-mile Miner’s Ravine Trail—which offers scenic, accessible paths through open space and neighborhoods and serves runners, walkers, cyclists, and nature enthusiasts—as a National Recreation Trail. As part of a growing 51-mile citywide trail network, this designation brings national recognition, potential federal support, and highlights Roseville’s commitment to connected and sustainable outdoor infrastructure.
