One beauty trend that continues to dominate the cosmetics world? Full, lush, attention-grabbing lashes. While some opt for professional extensions or DIY falsies, not everyone has the time, patience, or eye tolerance for adhesives and appointments. If that sounds familiar, a high-quality mascara paired with a good primer is a simple yet effective alternative. When using a lash primer, always check the application instructions—some formulas are designed to be topped with mascara while still wet and others need a moment to set. As for mascara, choose one that’s ophthalmologist-tested and safe for contact lens wearers. Bonus points if it’s made in the USA (especially here in California), and even better if the retailer offers a “try before you buy” option.
