Services or products you offer: Purple Door Finders is a software as a service (SaaS) website that allows people to search for all types of senior and assisted living options—at no charge. It’s the largest and most comprehensive search database of its kind.

What you enjoy most about your profession: The ability to bring transparency, accessibility, and affordability to the senior and assisted living industry. Seniors can now see all their options in one place when looking for a community that fits their lifestyle and care options.

Fun fact about your company: The name Purple Door Finders originated from a road trip game I used to play with my sons. I would ask them to look for a purple door; knowing that they’re incredibly rare, it would take them hours to search. I founded this company to make the search easier for seniors to find their "purple door."

Customer service is: At the heart of what we do. We serve our customers with optimism, joy, and dedication to ensure they receive exceptional service.

You started your business, because: During my experience as a marketing director in senior living, I saw firsthand how challenging it was for people to search for and find a community to fit their senior's needs.

Most memorable experience as an entrepreneur: Working alongside an amazing and inspirational team who share the same vision and goals to bring awareness, transparency, accessibility, and affordability to the senior living industry.

First job: Volunteer at a hospital and convalescent center.

Favorite food: Italian.

Favorite local restaurant: That Dam Place.

Favorite small business: Visconti's Ristorante.

When not working, you can be found: Spending time with my grandchildren.

You love living here, because: Whether you’re starting a business or a family, Folsom offers diverse opportunities. It’s one of the safest and most inclusive communities I’ve ever lived in.
