Live on the BLVD. Bring a low-backed chair to the El Dorado Hills Town Center for an evening of live music every Thursday. The Lightning Thief. Follow along as half-blood Percy Jackson discovers he’s the prime suspect of Zeus’ missing thunderbolt and must go on a journey to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the Gods of Olympus. Sweeney Todd School Edition. Roseville Theatre Arts Academy presents the dark, witty, and Tony Award-winning tale of love, murder, and revenge set against the backdrop of 19th-century London. National Night Out. Midsummer Fairytale. Don your best fantasy attire and prepare for a weekend of whimsy at this magical festival featuring folk and Celtic music alongside local food vendors, an enchanted marketplace, and interactive fun with Robin Hood and his Merry Men. An Evening with Jake’s Journey Home. Celebrate and honor the legacy of military veteran Jake Shuman from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at the Folsom Community Center. The fundraiser includes heartwarming success stories, a catered dinner from Holy Grail BBQ, raffle prizes, and silent auctions. 20-Mile Taste.
