More than 400 community members enjoyed a VIP reception, dinner, inspirational program, live and silent auctions, a golden ticket raffle, and more at this event aimed at helping United Way reach their anniversary goal of raising $3 million to help 10,000 local children excel in school by 2025. United Way also surprised 10 Sacramento State students, all former foster youth, by announcing they would be part of United Way’s new Collegiate Guaranteed Income Program.
