Since opening their doors in 1990 Sunrise Natural Foods, a local health food store, has been owned and operated by Judy Gillespie, a charismatic woman passionate about the overall health and well being of her community. Today, both Sunrise Natural Foods locations in Roseville and Auburn are owned and operated by Ms. Gillespie. She relies on brainstorming with the Sunrise Management Team to oversee the daily operations.

Not only is Judy Gillespie a member of the Power of 100 Women non-profit organization, she also provides community support through her small business as well. Sunrise Natural Foods sponsors many local school sports teams and community groups for children. The health food store also runs an annual sock drive for the homeless and has donated quality produce to food shelters during the holiday season.
