At Fenton Herriott Vineyards, we have long held a great passion for wine. It is for this reason that we chose to plant our vines amidst the steady sun and rich soil of Placerville, California.  The Mediterranean climate of this area, combining warm summer nights and hot summer days with free-draining volcanic soil, is especially ideal for grape growing and allows us to produce the quality fruit needed for our complex, well balanced, and full-bodied wines.
