In addition to owning her own business, Cathy has co-owned Distinctive Design Group, a designer buying group that has access to a showroom with premiere materials and extended resources since 2009. The group, made up of incredible local Interior Designers, has given Cathy the opportunity to mentor members and encourage them to grow their business and be profitable.
Since 2005, Interior Designer Cathy Tonks, owner of Designs With You in Mind, has specialized in luxury design-build projects in the greater Sacramento area with projects ranging from kitchen and bathroom remodels to new home construction and furnishings.
Today, Cathy proudly runs a small team of women whose mission is to design signature spaces that bring out the best in you, reflect who you are, and how you live.
From her studio in Granite Bay, she is able to provide clients with the finest material options from the best brands to make your home truly unique. To keep her collection up to date, she holds a monthly vendor day to consider the latest product lines including hardware, carpet, tile, furniture, cabinets, fabrics, window coverings, soft furnishings, and bedding.
