New Businesses on the Block — March 2022

Newly opened Pizza Norcia (pizzanorcia.com) in El Dorado (6180 Pleasant Valley Rd, El Dorado) offers Umbrian-inspired, wood-fired pizzas that are distinctly Italian in nature with imported ingredients like ham and truffles. Organic flour dough is fermented for 36 hours and animated by an ancient starter resulting in an authentic pizza crust. 

Full of Chic Boutique

 

Full of Chic Boutique (fullofchicboutique.com)—a full-service shopping experience located at the heart of Placerville—recently opened its doors. They sell apparel, new and refinished furniture, home décor, textiles, and more at 617 Main Street, Suite A, Placerville.

Toll Brothers

 

Toll Brothers (tollbrothersdesignstudio.com), the nation’s leading builder of luxury homes, announced its newest Design Studio at 161 Parkshore Drive in Folsom. The retail-like shopping experience for Toll Brothers home buyers offers luxury interior design options and premium products from top brands. Toll Brothers is actively selling homes at Skyline, Rocklin and Regency, Folsom Ranch. They also anticipate opening a new home community in El Dorado Hills.

Kiki's Chicken Place

 

Kiki’s Chicken Place (kikischicken.com) is joining Mikuni and Bennett’s Kitchen Bar Market at 1565 Eureka Road in Roseville. The locally-owned restaurant chain is known for its chicken tenders and wings and currently has locations in Rocklin and Folsom among others.

Bob's Discount Furniture

 

Bob’s Discount Furniture (mybobs.com), the 10th largest U.S. furniture chain with 150 stores across 24 states, is opening new showrooms in Roseville (1252 Galleria Boulevard) and Folsom (2725 East Bidwell Street) featuring furniture for the entire home, mattresses, and home decor. Grand openings for both stores will happen on May 27th.

Rocklin Bottle Shop

 

Rocklin Bottle Shop (rocklinbottleshop.com) is planning a Folsom location at 7700 Folsom-Auburn Road. This location will sell a variety of craft beers, wines, and high-end spirits, and will eventually also have tastings.

University of Beer

 

Davis-based University of Beer (theuob.com) is coming to 1009 East Bidwell Street, Folsom later this year. Known for offering a wide variety of beers, the Folsom locale will have 40 taps and indoor and outdoor seating. The food menu will consist of burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and signature dishes like beer-battered fish and chips and mango habanero fish tacos.
