Los Angeles-based chain The NOW Massage, aka “The NOW” (thenowmassage.com), is opening a 2,240-square-foot location in the El Dorado Hills Town Center. The NOW offers affordably priced massages like "The Stretch"—a sports-inspired treatment designed to stimulate lymphatic and circulatory systems, improve range of motion, and reduce recovery time. In addition, customers can choose "enhancements," such as herbal heat therapy and a prenatal glow.

Ambience Floral Design & Gifts

Ambience Floral Design & Gifts (ambiencefloral.com) is moving to a larger location next month. Sited at 190 Roseville Parkway, Suite 160, in Roseville, the new space will feature a large selection of plants, pots, and accessories; a stem bar where customers can select fresh flowers to wrap and take home; ready-to-purchase arrangements; and a shop stocked with fun gifts like jewelry, candles, and lotions. In 2022, they’ll offer classes where attendees will learn how to make wreaths, terrariums, succulent gardens, and more.

The Fountains at Roseville (fountainsatroseville.com) will soon be welcoming hair care and color bar company Madison Reed (madison-reed.com), restaurant chain Nick the Greek (nickthegreeksj.com), and home décor retailer The Shade Store (theshadestore.com). Follow @fountainsatrsvl on Instagram for opening updates.

Heroes Virtual Reality Adventures (heroesvradventures.com)—the region’s premier virtual reality (VR) arcade and gaming destination—has opened a second location at 731 Pleasant Grove Boulevard, Suite 165, in Roseville. Their first one is sited at 1801 Taylor Road, Suite 130.

Mochi Dough

Japanese-inspired donut chain, Mochi Dough (mochidoughusa.com) is expanding to 2791 East Bidwell Street, Suite 600, in Folsom. Using rice flour instead of traditional yeast, their donuts (flavors include original glazed, funnel cake, Biscoff cookie, Thai tea, and rose garden) are uniquely airy and chewy inside with a perfectly crisp outside. High-end boba tea company Bober Tea (boberteausa.com) is also opening in the same storefront.

Burn Boot Camp

Burn Boot Camp (burnbootcamp.com)—a community gym focused on the whole individual—is opening its newest franchise in Rocklin West off Highway 65. The 7,600-square-foot center features flexible membership options, which are camp-based—scheduling members for 45-minute sessions that target different muscle groups each day of the week—and include access to childcare and focus meetings, which pair members with a trainer to share nutrition guidance and more.

Local fast-casual chain Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse (petesrandb.com)—beloved for their bold, full-flavored pizzas, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and pastas—is returning to the El Dorado Hills Town Center this winter. The 3,800-square-foot eatery will include a patio, updated interior, and possible beer garden.
