New Businesses on the Block — August 2021

Flame & Fire Brazilian Steakhouse (—a modern experience into Brazil’s traditional churrascaria, featuring the rodizio-style of carved meats tableside, along with an exquisite “market table” (seasonal gourmet salads, cold and hot Brazilian specialties, and
imported charcuterie), and creative cocktails—is now open at 380 Palladio Parkway, Suite 305, in Folsom. The restaurant has an additional location in Roseville.

The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and Red Hawk Casino broke ground on a nearly 120,000-square-foot hotel that’s slated to feature five stories with 150 guest rooms, including 25 suites, and a stunning outdoor terrace with a pool and fitness center. Healthy, on-the-go meal chain LeanFeast ( is opening a location at 5130 Commons Drive, Suite 112, in Rocklin. The convenience-based restaurant and online storefront, which describes itself as a “Subway/Chipotle hybrid” offers 23 protein choices, 13 vegetable options, and six carbohydrates that customers select their desired portions of.



Folsom Palace (—which serves healthy family-style Chinese food with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients—is expanding to 5450 Sunrise Boulevard, Suite E, in Citrus Heights. The eatery has existing locations in Folsom and El Dorado Hills.

A handful of locally owned businesses are scheduled to open soon at the El Dorado Hills Town Center (, including Formaggio Pizza Express, a 1,138-square-foot restaurant that will focus on takeout and delivery, and Snug Spot Comics & Games, which will offer comics and board games and host game tournaments.

A new movie theater complex is set to debut in Roseville this fall. Cinemark—sited on the second floor of the renovated Sears building at Westfield Galleria at Roseville—will feature 14 screens and sell alcohol.

Restore Hyper Wellness (—the leading retail provider of proactive wellness services in the U.S., including whole body and localized cryotherapy, IV drip therapy, stretch therapy, mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infrared sauna, and more—is opening its second Sacramento-area location at 1013 Galleria Boulevard, Suite 190, in Roseville.

CountryHouse Residence (—a world-class memory care community filled with activity engagement, support, and personalized care for those who experience Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory loss diseases—opened at 2005 Iron Point Road in Folsom. This is the second Sacramento-area location for the national company—the first is in Granite Bay.

Hands4Hope (—a nonprofit youth driven organization whose mission is to inspire and empower youth in leadership and service—opened a 1,300-square-foot Placerville Youth Center at 905-A Spring Street. The new locale features open, bright spaces for meetings and activities, a small kitchen, and plenty of room to store donated and gathered goods for homeless outreaches, school supply drives, and other community engagement events.
