New Businesses on the Block — July 2021

Full Sol Market (fullsolmarket.com)—a retail nursery shop that boasts a diverse and ever-changing selection of plants and pots, in addition to gardening tools and home décor—recently opened its doors at 815 Sutter Street, Suite B, in Folsom.

Golftec (golftec.com), a golf instruction company that also offers golf club fittings, is opening a 2,400-square-foot location in Folsom’s Broadstone Plaza. The company—which has 200-plus sites worldwide including one in Roseville—is slated to open at the end of the month.

Roostarz Hot Chicken

 

Roostarz Hot Chicken (roostarz.com), which will serve hand-breaded Nashville-style hot chicken tenders and sliders with a California twist, is opening soon at 4540 Post Street, Suite 290, in El Dorado Hills. Side dishes will include fries made with 100% pure peanut oil and kale slaw.

Nectar @ The Villa, a full-service salon and taproom with 20 rotating pours plus food and a 7,000-square-foot patio, is opening soon at 3905 Park Drive, Suite 100, in El Dorado Hills’ La Borgata retail center.

Pachamama Coffee Cooperative

 

Locally based Pachamama Coffee Cooperative (pachamamacoffee.com) is moving its main roasting operations to an approximately 5,000-square-foot facility in the El Dorado Hills Business Park, which will allow them to roast more than one million pounds of coffee annually. The new site is slated to open in the coming months.

StretchLab (stretchlab.com)—a unique wellness concept featuring customized, assisted stretch sessions led by “flexologists”—is coming soon to 230 Palladio Parkway, Suite 1223, in Folsom. The franchise has more than 100 existing locations across the U.S.

Toogood Estate Winery

 

Toogood Estate Winery (toogoodwinery.com) opened a new tasting room at 304 Main Street in Placerville. In addition to custom-built wine, port, and occasional paired tastings, the locale also offers light appetizers and live music. Their existing vineyard in Somerset boasts 12 acres planted with numerous varietals, including Zinfandel, Primitivo, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petite Sirah.

Goldfield Trading Post, which has an existing location in Midtown Sacramento, is expanding to a 10,000-square-foot space in Downtown Roseville (238 Vernon Street). The new, larger locale will feature Nashville-inspired fare, live music, a 14-foot LED wall/TV for sports and special events," and a full bar.
