Ranked as the second largest 50-mile endurance race in the U.S., this year’s run—which took 178 veterans and first-timers through the breathtaking trails of Folsom and Auburn—benefited Fit for Girls, a nonprofit that uses the process of training for a 5K to empower middle school girls to develop life skills.
