What you enjoy most about your profession: Meeting new people who trust me to create unique flowers for their special occasions; also, getting to work with beautiful flowers!

Fun fact about your company: I've loved flowers since I was five years old. Back in my hometown of San Jose, my best friend's mom had the most beautiful garden, and I would pick her flowers until there weren’t any left! It only took about 40 years to turn this passion into a business, and now the same best friend lives across the street from me. It was worth the wait!

First job: Video store clerk.

Favorite food: Anything at Land Ocean or The Kabob House.

Last big purchase: A commercial refrigerator to hold all of my flowers.

When not working, you can be found: Out on the region’s fabulous trails training for an upcoming hike through the Grand Canyon. I also love Amador Flower Farm and wine tasting. In the winter months, I love going mushroom hunting and rock collecting along the coast.

You love living here, because: All of the outdoor activities—trails, skate parks, lakes, parks, etc. Plus, Folsom has the nicest people and best schools!
