The Smart Axe (thesmartaxe.com)—with an existing location in Rancho Cordova—has a new locale at 726 Sutter Street in Folsom. Targets can be booked online and are open to groups of four (must be at least 12 years old). The business also boasts a “throw mobile trailer” for parties or on-site team buildings.
Vietnamese restaurant Urban Rolls is coming soon to Roseville's Campus Oaks Town Center. The 1,297-square-foot space has another location in Rocklin and serves everything from spring rolls and pho, to vermicelli bowls, bánh mi sandwiches, and steamed buns.
Talented young photographer and blossoming entrepreneur, Chloe Siegloch, launched The Space on Vernon, a Downtown Roseville studio at 628 Vernon Street that serves as a creative place for photographers, creators, and event vendors. For more info, follow @thespaceonvernon on Instagram.

Irvine-based franchise YogaSix (yogasix.com) is opening a location at 2030 Douglas Boulevard in Roseville’s Rocky Ridge Town Center. The aptly named studio offers six types of classes, including hot yoga and slow flow.
Expect an assortment of fresh entrées, such as sushi, teriyaki, and noodles, plus plenty of vegetarian options and a quick-service takeout menu at Nara Sushi. The 2,476-square-foot eatery at 1125 Riley Street in Folsom is slated to open later this spring or early summer.

A new dining concept is opening this month at Red Hawk Casino (redhawkcasino.com). The locale formerly occupied by Burger Spot is being remodeled and converted into Triple Down Kitchen—featuring favorites from three well-known chains: The Original Mels Diner, The Cheese Steak Shop, and a beloved BBQ restaurant (name TBD).
