Poke Town Poke Bowl

 

Stop by Poke Town (poketown.us) at 701 Pleasant Grove Boulevard, Suite 100, in Roseville, for build-your-own poke bowls, ice cream macaron sandwiches, mochi, and more. The locally owned, fast-casual eatery has an existing location in Antelope.

Sociology Coffee Bar (sociologycoffeebar.com) opened inside of Escape Folsom at 727 Traders Lane and features specialty coffee roasted by Clementine Coffee and tea courtesy of K & K Chai. You can also find their quality beverages at the Historic Folsom Farmers’ Market on Saturdays.

Wing Mahal (wingmahal.com)—sited at 1115 East Bidwell Street, Suite 124, in Folsom—makes organic, halal chicken wings with an Indian flair: think flavors like butter chicken, curry masala, and Delhi spice alongside familiar favorites like lemon pepper and buffalo.

Blue Nami at Folsom’s Palladio at Broadstone (330 Palladio Parkway, Suite 2045) is under new ownership—and has a new name. Aosome Rock n Roll Sushi (aosomesushis.com) has a similar sushi-filled menu with plans to offer beer and wine as well.

Premier men’s lifestyle brand, TravisMathew (travismathew.com)—which draws its inspiration from the culture and lifestyle of Southern California’s surf, sand, and sun—is joining the Westfield Galleria at Roseville.

A Part Café

 

A Part Café (apartofroseville.com), which serves locally sourced Middle Eastern fusion comfort food (including “shwacos,” platters, and pocket pies), plus ice cream from Gunther’s, coffee from Milka Coffee Roasters, and baked goods like tahini chocolate chip cookies, is the newest eatery to open in Downtown Roseville (217 Vernon Street). The eco-friendly café is also home to California’s first photo mirror installation of The Self Portrait Project (selfportraitproject.com). 

Zak’s Bar & Grill (zakbargrill.com), a locally owned restaurant at 10750 Olson Drive in Rancho Cordova with a spacious outdoor patio, is open for business. The family-friendly locale serves a variety of entrées, from pastas and street tacos to clam chowder and vegetarian options, plus a lengthy kids’ menu.

Local chicken wings chain Fire Wings (firewings.com) has a new location at 1016 Riley Street, Suite 5, in Folsom. In addition to over 20 flavors of wings, the eatery also offers beer on tap, chicken sandwiches, salads, and sides like garlic noodles, chili cheese fries, and stuffed jalapeños.
