Dr. Cahoon is the sole owner/operator of the Veterinary Healing Center located in El Dorado Hills. He graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987 and opened up his first practice in El Dorado Hills 1 year later.

Over the past 33 years, Dr. Cahoon’s expertise as an animal doctor has evolved significantly. In 2013, he made the decision to expand his skills as an integrative practitioner and received his certification as a veterinary acupuncturist.

The VHC team has been thrilled to see positive results in many of their patients with the use of alternative treatments. These alternative treatments have become an integral part of the well-rounded care they offer your pet.
