We are Sherrie and George Ammirato and Jessie, our Min. Schnauzer little girl. We opened The Doggie Bag in 2004 with the goal of providing dogs & their owners with healthy alternatives in dog nutrition. Also important was to find healthy treats & bakery delights as well as plenty of high quality products that are fun, functional and unique.We spent more than a year doing product research on holistic dog food companies to select what we feel are some of the best dog foods & treats available. That research continues allowing us to make sure our customers are offered the best products available. As a result, many of our customers have found very positive benefits after changing to holistic foods.

The Doggie Bag also wanted to feature products for all dogs, small to large with an emphasis on functionality & fun. We have found & continue to find a vast & varied array of products from beautiful crystal collars to fantastic natural shampoos to a great selection of specialty dog clothing & gear for active dogs.

We have always had dogs in our lives & absolutely love what we are doing because we know we are enriching the lives of so many dogs & their owners……and that's a great feeling!
