Cinco de Drinko: 4 Must-Try Margaritas

Who doesn’t love sipping on margaritas in the sunshine? Cinco de Mayo or not, we’re always thirsty for the tequila-based beverage, and the creative concoctions that follow promise to please the most discerning cocktail connoisseur.

Mango Margarita

Mango Margarita

• 2 oz. 100% agave tequila
• 6 oz. all-natural mango purée
• 2 oz. house-made sweet & sour
• Fresh lime, to garnish
• Tajín, to garnish
Blend all ingredients or shake and serve on the rocks in a Tajín-rimmed glass with a lime wedge and sprinkle of Tajín.

• 1 1/2 oz. Rancho Alegre Tequila Blanco
• *3/4 oz. pineapple syrup
• 1/2 oz. lime juice
• 1/2 oz. Combier Triple Sec
• Rosemary, to garnish
• Fresh pineapple, to garnish
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients. Shake. Pour into salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with sprig of rosemary and pineapple.
*Boil 2 cups of pineapple juice and 2 tbsp. of agave nectar till reduced to 1 cup. Remove from heat and let cool.

• 1/2 oz. Chambord Liqueur
• 1 1/4 oz. tequila
• 2 oz. raspberry sherbet
• 2 oz. sweet & sour
• 1 cup ice
Pour Chambord into a glass. Blend tequila, raspberry sherbet, and sweet & sour with ice, then pour into the Chambord-filled glass.

Roasted Jalapeño Margarita

• 1 1/2 oz. Maestro Dobel Diamante Tequila
• 1 roasted jalapeño, de-seeded and sliced
• 1 1/2 oz. agave nectar
• Splash of fresh-squeezed lime juice
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add all ingredients. Shake. Pour into salt-rimmed glass.
