Halldin Public Relations has a new home! The media firm has relocated to 5701 Lonetree Boulevard, Suite 126, in Rocklin, and even has a nine-hole putting green.

New Glory Eatery & Taproom has officially opened. The restaurant is located in Granite Bay’s Quarry Ponds Town Center and features food offerings that change based on what’s in season.

William Jessup University hired Tom Sasser, an administrator from University of the Pacific (UOP), as chief development officer. Sasser and his team were able to elevate fundraising productions at UOP by 120 percent and he’s planning to bring that same enthusiasm and effort to Jessup.

The California-Hawaii Elks Association presented the City of Roseville with an award that honored Mayor Susan Rohan for her patriotism and excellence in promoting Americanism.

A new authentic Italian restaurant, Trattoria Da Gino—owned by Betsey Alessi and her husband, Mario, who’s from Italy, is opening at 1465 Eureka Road, Suite 100, in Roseville.

Brooke Abrames and MaryTess Mayall

The Blue Line Arts Board of Directors has confirmed Brooke Abrames and MaryTess Mayall as their new co-executive directors. Abrames heads the development efforts, and Mayall is the lead for programs. The two have been interim co-directors for a few months, and will continue driving the mission of the organization.

The Roseville City School Board is welcoming two new board members on December 13: Rob Baquera and Valerie Gross. Baquera has served as a Roseville City School District Foundation board member, and Gross developed leadership during her three years as the Stoneridge PTC president.

The annual Hot Pink Fun Run this October had more than 500 participants clad in pink, all walking and running to aid the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation. The family-friendly event allowed children and pets to participate in a one-mile survivor’s walk/run in addition to the 10K run and 5K walk. In total, the event raised $22,000 in the fight against breast cancer.

Old Town Pizza

Auburn’s Old Town Pizza was ranked 30th in Pizza Today magazine’s annual Hot 100 list. Rising a full seven places from last year, this local pizza shop reported gross sales of almost $6.3 million in 2017, putting it a slice ahead of the competition.

Peet’s Coffee is coming to the Westfield Galleria! The coffee chain will fill the open space where Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant used to be. What’s more, you can follow up your coffee with a warm, gooey cinnamon roll fresh from the oven: Cinnabon is making a sweet return to the Galleria in the spot Sleep Number used to occupy.
