SCARECROW CONTEST
OCTOBER 17

Gather scavenged supplies and bring your family, youth group, service club, etc. to the CSD Quad at 4:30 p.m. for this annual contest.

OKTOBERFEST FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL AND BEER GARDEN
OCTOBER 17

Bring your appetite and family to EDH Community Park from 5-8 p.m. as Food Trucks in the Foothills serves up delicious eats, drinks, and live music. Proceeds support the EDH Promise Foundation.

TRUNK OR TREAT
OCTOBER 26

From 3:30-5p.m., trick-or-treaters can go from trunk to trunk collecting candy from volunteers who have decorated their vehicles. Other activities include a spooky scarecrow trail, ghoulish games, and a creepy cakewalk. For info on volunteering and donating candy, call 916-614-3214 or email [email protected].

PUMPKIN SPLASH PATCH
OCTOBER 27

Children (ages 3-10) are invited to begin their quest for the perfect pumpkin at the heated CSD Community Pool from 2-4 p.m. In addition to finding and decorating gourds, there will be an open swim featuring the Marshall Medical inflatable. Admission includes a pumpkin, decorating supplies, swim pass, and a special trick-or-treat goodie bag; pre-registration is required.

WORLD KINDNESS DAY

NOVEMBER 3

In a collaborative effort with the EDH Branch Library and YELL Teen Council, the inaugural World Kindness Day is coming to the CSD Gym. From 3-5:30 p.m., families can learn how to fill their bucket with tips and tricks on showing kindness and respect for others.
