Catch All: Art Studios Tour Roundup

Since 2003, the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce has presented the popular El Dorado Hills Art, Beer, and Wine Festival—a two-day event in the El Dorado Hills Town Center that showcases artists, wineries, and craft breweries, in addition to great food and music. This year’s celebration runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 12 and 13 and is open to all, including furry friends. Admission is free, but if you'd like to indulge in small pours of wine and beer, tasting kits can be purchased for $35 per person, per day. Sherri Pellegrini from the El Dorado Hills Chamber explains that the event intends to "share our local artists, wineries, and breweries [with the region] and bring a sense of community to El Dorado Hills." Continue your art viewing with the El Dorado Hills Arts Association’s Art Studio Tour on June 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free, self-guided tour features over 40 local artists displaying art in their private studios and homes throughout Folsom, El Dorado Hills, and Shingle Springs. "This tour provides an opportunity for artists to show their work directly to the public in a relaxed, pleasant environment. It's a fun way to meet the artists and find out what inspires them and how their work has evolved," explains Boni Canning of the El Dorado Hills Arts Association. Both events promise a diverse range of art on display, showing the multitude of creative talents we have in our own backyard.
