Rocklin Parks and Recreation: Fun in February

HAPPY 125TH BIRTHDAY

You’re invited to celebrate the City of Rocklin’s 125th birthday with live music, food trucks, historic displays, previews of Quarry Park Adventures, and much more.

SPORTS PROGRAMS

Whether a beginner or intermediate player, increase your kiddos’ confidence and endurance by signing them up for a youth basketball league (grades K-6), Hoopstertots (ages 3-5), or award-winning tennis classes (ages 5-12). For more information, visit rocklin.ca.us/sports.


YOUTH CLASSES

Rocklin is proud to partner with YSciT to offer “Young Scientists in Training”—a hands-on, science-based program that empowers children and teens to tackle new scientific information with confidence. To register, visit yscit.org/registration.html.


ADULT PROGRAMS

The City of Rocklin offers a variety of free activities for active adults. Each group is always looking for new members to join in the fun.

Senior Social Hour: Enjoy coffee and conversations with old and new friends from 8-10 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

Stretch and Fitness: Get out and work out with other active adults in the Parks and Rec Activity Room on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.

Aerobics: Work out to music in the Parks and Rec Senior Activity Room on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9-10 a.m.

Movie Day: Enjoy films, food, and fun every Friday in the Parks and Rec Senior Activity Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
