Folsom Lake Symphony Presents Passion and Drama. February 10. Harris Center. For a special Valentine’s Day, enjoy Barber’s Adagio for Strings, Haydn’s Concertante, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, “Pathétique.” A quartet of principal symphony musicians will also perform as soloists for the Haydn work: Anita Fetsch Felix (violin), Alexandra Roedder (cello), Curtis Kidwell (oboe), and Jill Dowlat (bassoon). Race for Justice Valentine Run/Walk. February 10. Country Club Plaza Mall. This kid-, canine-, and stroller-friendly event supports Legal Services of Northern California and their mission to help individuals and families keep a roof over their heads, put food on their tables, and give them access to health care. Participants are encouraged to wear their best V-Day-inspired attire and partake in the 1.8-mile (untimed) course or the four-mile course; after, enjoy refreshments, entertainment, vendors, and a festive awards ceremony.
