As I entered one of Folsom’s newest quick-serve eateries, Which Wich, I couldn't help but notice the inviting atmosphere. Modern, with bright colors and a minimalistic style, it's the perfect setting for a midday meal. Instead of ordering directly on the sandwich line and adding toppings as you go down, Which Wich has customers begin by filling out a sandwich bag that corresponds with their chosen sub—allowing patrons to specify the style, size, toppings, temperature (hotwich or coldwich), sauces, spices, and any special requests they may have. Though slightly overwhelmed by all the options, the employees sensed my indecisiveness and convinced me to order their signature sandwich: the Wicked. The name really speaks for itself and feeds the need no matter what you’re craving. Piled high with turkey, ham, roast beef, pepperoni, bacon, plus your choice of three cheeses (I opted for pepper jack, American, and cheddar) and any additional toppings you want. I'm a total veg head so had mine stuffed with all the fresh fixings (lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, red onions, cucumbers, pickles, etc.). The sammie did not disappoint; every ingredient was perfectly stacked, making for a mouthwatering, fulfilling (and filling!) lunch.
