Gold Country Writers Present Donna Levin   
June 21  //  Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Auburn


Donna Levin—writing instructor and author of There’s More Than One Way Home—presented “Too Many Writers Are Buried in Plots” where she revealed secrets on creating well-thought-out plotting in a novel at this monthly meeting.

Friday Alfresco   
July 14  //  Bogle Vineyards, Clarksburg


Bogle Vineyards invited A Touch of Understanding (ATOU) to be the featured nonprofit at their Friday Alfresco, an after-hours event at the tasting room where attendees listened to live music, enjoyed local food trucks and danced on the lawn, while getting information about ATOU’s disability-awareness program. Bogle donated proceeds from the evening to ATOU.

Roseville Downtown Tuesday NightS   
July 25  //  Vernon Street, Roseville


This free, family-friendly event—which ran every Tuesday evening from May through July—brought in vendors, live entertainment, great bands and a kids’ fun zone, in addition to late-night shopping, a classic car show and “Food, Wine and Ale Pairings” with chef demonstrations.

Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce Luncheon  
July 21  //  Maidu Community Center, Roseville


Every third Thursday of the month, the Chamber hosts a luncheon at the Maidu Community Center with a different speaker, sponsor and caterer.

Los Lagos Garden Tour   
May 20  //  Los Lagos Estates, Granite Bay


Attendees toured five beautiful gardens while enjoying beverages, bites and music at this annual event that benefitted Seniors First.

Blanket Donation    
July 7  //  Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and Sutter Roseville Medical Center


More than 38,000 blankets and messages of hope were donated and delivered to Sutter as part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, where Subaru, its retailers, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) team up to spread love, warmth and hope to those fighting cancer.
