Game Plan

Skip the hassle of driving and parking, and join fellow Sacramento Kings fans on non-stop bus service from Roseville to the new Golden 1 Center. The family-friendly Game Day Express is a safe, clean and comfortable way to travel downtown.

Buy one-way ($4.50 for the general public; $3.25 for Roseville residents) or round-trip ($9 for the general public; $6.50 for Roseville residents) tickets online at roseville.ca.us/gamedayexpress, by calling 916-774-5293, or visiting the City of Roseville’s Alternative Transportation Office; children 2 and under ride free on an adult’s lap.

The bus departs from the Civic Center Transfer Point, adjacent to 311 Vernon Street in Downtown Roseville, and fans are dropped off just a short walk from the Golden 1 Center at the Sacramento Valley Station (401 I Street). See you at the game!

Spirit of the Season

Tree Lighting

On December 10 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Old St. Mary’s Chapel, don’t miss the annual Tree Lighting event. Bring your family for free, fun activities such as caroling, train and wagon rides, “Selfies with Santa,” craft projects, and so much more. Follow the Rocklin Christmas Tree Lighting page on Facebook or visit rocklintreelighting.org to stay up to date with all the fun details.

Breakfast with Santa

On December 17 at the Rocklin Event Center, dine with the man in red at this traditional holiday event that’s perfect for you and your children. A tasty breakfast, provided by local Boy Scouts, allows your family to eat together and share your experience with the jolly man himself. After breakfast, attendees are treated to a variety of craft projects. Purchase tickets at rocklin.ca.us/events.

Toys for Tots

Rocklin has teamed up with Toys for Tots to stay in the true spirit of the season. Help less fortunate children in our community by dropping off a new, unwrapped toy at any of the fire stations in Rocklin or at the Recreation, Arts and Event Tourism Department; and keep an eye out for the bins at upcoming holiday events.

The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree program benefits the Placer County Children’s Receiving Home by displaying “ornaments” on trees that have a child’s gift wish on it. Select an ornament at the Recreation, Arts and Event Tourism Department or the Rocklin Police Department, purchase the gift listed, and return the new, unwrapped present in a gift bag where you picked up the ornament.
