Catch All: Quarry Park Country Fest

Jun 28, 2016 04:56PM ● By David Norby

What could be better than summer concerts at the beautiful new Quarry Park? Country Fest on July 23 from 4:30-9 p.m. brings great country music to Rocklin’s new city center. “We will have three great artists,” says Monica Nitz, marketing and development specialist for the City of Rocklin. “Auburn Road, a local all-girl trio, will start the night off on the Firehouse Stage as they sing their original music. Kree Harrison, runner-up on season 12 of American Idol, will perform her highly anticipated debut single, ‘This Old Thing’ on the Main Stage. Our headliner, JT Hodges, will keep the energy going with his soulful lyrics and undeniable country-rock sound!” Food trucks and local restaurant vendors will be on site, along with beer and wine for purchase. “We are currently in our inaugural year of Quarry Park and look forward to many more exciting events for the remainder of 2016 and our future at this beautiful venue,” says Nitz. The amphitheater is only getting started making its mark on our community. A sold-out show at the Quarry Park Amphitheater can seat approximately 1,700 people, and even though the venue has just opened, a full house has already occurred.
