Foodie Find: T's Cycle Cafe in Cameron Park

Mar 29, 2016 05:10PM ● By David Norby

Okay, so before my recent discovery I’d never actually bought a coffee from a bike shop before, nor did I even know that was a thing—I mean, a café in a bike shop?  In fact, it wasn’t even a coffee, it was a Vanilla Latte—a big, glorious vanilla latte with just the right amount of foam and the perfect hint of vanilla, with enough pep to get my butt on a bike and ride some serious Cameron Park trails. Fine, I didn’t ride any trails either, but I could have! I was just too caught up in the frosted deliciousness of my Pumpkin Scone, whose moist consistency clearly rejected the cultural norms of the overly dried. This thing had more flavor than the road-rash-raspberries I might’ve gotten had I actually tried hitting those trails… All right, I’m done with the puns, but not the coffee. T’s Cycle Café (located inside Team Cycle) has everything from lattes and smoothies to scones, candy and cake. Don’t let the gear hanging off the wall and bicycles fool you—this is one heck of a coffee shop.
