The City of Placerville offers exercise classes to please all age groups and fitness levels, along with special interest classes designed to teach participants how to sew, knit, play the guitar, and make those ever-so-popular essential oils

Looking to move and groove this month? Don’t miss out on Friday night swing, salsa on Thursdays, rumba, waltz and foxtrot classes, or the Saturday morning dance workshops. Table tennis, Pilates, Zumba, belly dance, kinder dance, a tea party for kids, tai chi and taekwondo programs for youth and adults are also available.

Are you or someone you know looking for a perfect summer job? The Placerville Aquatics Center is home to the best aquatics staff around and they’re currently accepting applications for employment; positions include lifeguards, swim instructors and pool managers. A variety of shifts mean that hours are flexible. The deadline to apply for first-round consideration is Tuesday, March 15, at 5 p.m. To download an application, visit cityofplacervile.org; for more information, call 530-642-5232.
